IRVINS launches Dangerously Addictive™ Truffle Potato Chips

IRVINS’ latest offering to snack lovers in Singapore is Truffle Potato Chips.

It is a new flavour, launched on September 5 at IRVINS’ biggest Singapore outlet in Jewel Changi Airport, after innovation and development by the company’s food technologists, chefs and R&D specialists.

The Truffle Potato Chips took a year to make and are the latest addition to IRVINS’ bold and contemporary range of Dangerously Addictive™ products. It went through a series of trials and taste tests.

“Realising Singapore residents’ love for all things truffle, we sought to develop a ‘truffin’ addictive’ addition to our product line, adding an IRVINS spin to this sought-after product,” said founder of IRVINS Irvin Gunawan.

“Fresh truffles, sourced from Italy, are used in our secret recipe, which was perfected over 12 months. We look forward to continuing to take the industry by storm with our Dangerously Addictive™ snacks.”

IRVINS’ patented Zig Zag Potato Chips are delicately enhanced with real, dried summer truffles, sourced from Italian woodlands.

These truffles are known for their hazelnut-like aroma and prized for their gastronomic qualities. The overall aroma and taste are balanced, not too heavy or earthy.

They possess a strong umami taste that deepens the overall richness of the chips and are complemented by a sprinkling of aromatic parsley.

The Truffle Potato Chips are hand-cooked by IRVINS’ passionate in-house chef.

The thick-sliced Zig Zag potato chips offer a better crunch experience and trap more truffle coating on the surface. This means there is more flavour with every bite.

The IRVINS Truffle Potato Chips can be had with different dips such as mayonnaise, mustard, tartar sauce, vanilla ice cream and salted egg sauce.

I liked it best with IRVINS’ salted egg sauce.

IRVINS Truffle Potato Chips (70gm) retails at S$6 and are available at all its Singapore stores (Orchard Gateway, Takashimaya, WestGate, Jewel Changi Airport, Changi Terminal 1 Transit, Changi Terminal 3 Transit, eatirvins.sg, eatirvins.world (International).

They are also available on Shopee, Lazada and in selected supermarkets.

The product is not halal-certified but does not contain pork or lard.

The Singaporean brand IRVINS was established in 2008 at River Valley Road by Irvin Hasaka Yuga Gunawan as a zi char restaurant best known for its superb tasting yet affordable fresh crab dishes – especially its signature Salted Egg Crab with creamy flowing golden sauce.

Experimentation with new dishes along the way led to the creation of its unique and addictive salted egg snacks that are so well-loved today.

Specialising in Dangerously Addictive™ products, IRVINS’ food creations are delicately formulated by a passionate team of chefs, R&D specialists and food technologists.

IRVINS producess the highest quality of snacks that taste like they come straight out of your favourite restaurant.

In just seven years, IRVINS has grown its presence to 12 markets, including Singapore, China, North America, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Australia and Brunei.
