Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s leading operator of hotels and serviced residences, has announced that The Barracks Hotel will officially open in October 2019.
The hotel has also launched its booking site, and room reservations are now accepted.
A new brand to Far East Hospitality’s portfolio, The Barracks Hotel offers an ultra-exclusive experience tailor-made for the discerning traveller seeking timeless luxury and service with attention to detail.
Nestled in the tranquillity of Sentosa, The Barracks Hotel joins two other hotels managed by Far East Hospitality to complete the island’s latest gateway and getaway. Located in the same precinct are the family-friendly Village Hotel at Sentosa and The Outpost Hotel, which caters exclusively to adults.
A Heritage Hideout
A window to the island’s rich history, the hotel occupies a conserved colonial building built in 1904 overlooking tranquil views of the Heritage Lawn. What was once a barracks used by the British Army now houses 40 guest roomstastefully decorated with a mix of vintage and modern décor for a warm and timeless ambience.
Premier Guest Rooms
Each premier guest room is segmented into three different spaces: a king or twin bedroom, a spacious en-suite bathroom and an outdoor patio. All rooms on the second floor have a balcony, while the rooms on the ground floor come with a patio with direct access to the pool and Jacuzzi.
