Singapore’s most anticipated celebration of the “King of Fruits” is making a return this July, with Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) bringing back its popular All Hail the King Durian Fest for six exclusive evenings of premium durian indulgence, gourmet dining and live entertainment.

Held at The Bay Restaurant within Adventure Cove Waterpark, the festival promises an all-you-can-eat feast featuring some of the world’s most prized durian cultivars, including Mao Shan Wang, Black Thorn, Ang Kar (Red Prawn), Butter and D24, all freshly shucked on demand for guests.

The event will take place across two weekends, from July 3 to 5 and July 10 to 12, offering visitors a 75-minute premium dining experience set against the tropical surroundings of the waterpark.

Back by popular demand, the festival has become one of Singapore’s standout seasonal food experiences, attracting both seasoned durian enthusiasts and curious first-time diners eager to sample premium varieties at the peak of the harvest season.

Visitors can enjoy unlimited servings of the highly sought-after Mao Shan Wang, regarded by many connoisseurs as the benchmark for premium durians. Distinguished by its bright golden flesh, the variety is celebrated for its intensely creamy texture and signature bittersweet flavour that lingers on the palate.

Another crowd favourite is Black Thorn, renowned for its luxuriously smooth, custard-like consistency and delicate balance of floral sweetness and gentle bitterness.

Guests can also savour Ang Kar, also known as Red Prawn, a cultivar prized for its creamy texture, rich sweetness and subtle bitter notes, making it particularly approachable for newcomers to durian. The equally popular Butter variety offers a velvety mouthfeel with mellow sweetness, while the classic D24 remains a favourite for its well-balanced sweet and bitter flavour profile.

Beyond the free-flow durians, the festival offers a comprehensive buffet designed to complement the richness of the fruit.

Guests can enjoy a generous spread of local favourites and gourmet dishes, including signature roasted meats from Dian Xiao Er, alongside an assortment of tropical fruits such as coconuts, mangosteens, rambutans, longans and jambu. Refreshing beverages are also included, providing a welcome contrast to the richness of the durian feast.

The Bay Restaurant will be transformed into a colourful tropical fruit-themed venue, creating a lively atmosphere enhanced by live performances and celebrity-hosted entertainment throughout the six evenings.

Popular local personalities Ben Yeo and Colin Chee will host the festivities, keeping guests entertained while adding to the carnival-like ambience.

The event is designed to be more than simply a durian buffet. Resorts World Sentosa has positioned it as an immersive culinary celebration that combines premium produce, local cuisine and live entertainment in one all-inclusive experience.

Each session lasts 75 minutes, with guests encouraged to arrive punctually to make the most of the unlimited servings.

The first weekend sessions will run from 4.30pm to 5.45pm on July 3, 4 and 5, while the second weekend sessions will take place from 6.15pm to 7.30pm on July 10, 11 and 12.

Tickets are priced at S$238 per person and include unlimited premium durians together with the buffet spread. Due to limited capacity and strong demand, guests are encouraged to book early. Tickets are available until July 11 at https://www.rwsentosa.com/en/events/all-hail-the-king-durian-fest.

Entry to the event is via the Equarius Hotel lobby, located beside the Feng Shui Inn restaurant. Complimentary shuttle services will operate between Hotel Michael Rotunda and the Equarius Hotel lobby for added convenience.

Guests should note that separate admission tickets are required for entry to Adventure Cove Waterpark during its regular operating hours, while durian varieties and menu offerings may vary depending on seasonal availability.

The return of All Hail the King Durian Fest reflects Resorts World Sentosa’s continued focus on introducing distinctive lifestyle experiences that go beyond its attractions and hotels.

Spanning 49 hectares on Sentosa, the integrated resort is home to attractions including Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, the Singapore Oceanarium, six luxury hotels, the Resorts World Convention Centre and a diverse collection of dining destinations led by internationally acclaimed chefs.

The resort has also earned widespread recognition within the tourism industry, becoming the first integrated resort inducted into the TTG Travel Hall of Fame after receiving the Best Integrated Resort title for ten consecutive years at the TTG Travel Awards.

With premium durians, gourmet cuisine, tropical surroundings and live entertainment coming together, this year’s All Hail the King Durian Fest is once again set to offer one of Singapore’s most indulgent seasonal culinary experiences for lovers of the iconic King of Fruits.
